Ever thought of travelling on the luxury side of life? When most of us think of going abroad for the holidays we immediately book ourselves the next flight on a commercial plane and jet off to the airport. Commercial airplanes are fine, and they are what help us get around the world in an affordable way; but they can be stressful too. Think about how many people are talking, children screaming, hen parties getting rowdy as you try to relax on a flight… it’s not fun is it?

The good thing is that private jets exist. It might not be the mode of travel we think of for the average family holiday; but now and again the privacy is welcomed. Here you can find some more about how to hire a private jet, but for now let’s look at where you could travel using one…

British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands  are owned by the multi-millionaire Richard Branson. The main attraction on these island is the Villa which you can rent out. There is plenty to do on these islands, and you can spend your days relaxing by the beach, doing some morning yoga, and then trying out some of the adventure activities too. Go hiking in the mountains, snorkelling in the sea and even go bird watching if you like.

Bora Bora

Bora Bora is likely somewhere you will have already heard of, and had as your desktop background at some point in your life. It is a stunning island which is situated in the French Polynesia and for many is the most beautiful island in the world. You’ll be able to enjoy glistening turquoise waters, sugary sands and blue skies… and there is plenty for you to do while you stay. Sit and have cocktails by the sea, rent your own private bungalow, go hiking, diving, swimming, do yoga… the choice is yours and you will feel as if you are in your own little island paradise.

In the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles is the perfect destination for those who love wildlife and a good beach. You will be able to rent a luxury villa filled with jacuzzis, wooden furniture and marble floors, and look out onto the white sand. This is a stunning island with one of the most photographed beaches, and you can delve into the forest if you like to explore and see wildlife. You may even spot a giant tortoise!

Tuscany is a rather underrated area in Italy which is full to the brim of a rich culture and history within its borders.
