There is something romantic about lace. But I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m always careful when and what type of lace I wear. And if you throw in ruffles into the mix, I’m usually the first to say no thank you but for some reason this skirt was perfect. I love the champagne color which gives it a romantic feel and ideal for many neutral color combos. I paired the skirt with a classic black blazer, finished the look with patent black pumps and a vintage broach. I love vintage accessories because they have a certain charm and uniqueness about them. I usually don’t need much else when pairing any look with vintage touches, like accessories.
My dear friend and photographer, Diego Carvajal decided to capture this look in a charming plaza in the city of Weston. This location had wonderful lighting and when you turn each corner the backdrop changes, which is why I love this location. It was cold when we shot this but we soldiered on and guerrilla styled it. Diego and I are always running away from security when we do our street style shoots. But if you ask me, it just adds excitement to the experience.
